This course will be suitable for those who use one of the telephone device types below:

• 8434D(+) or 9434D(+)
• 6416D(+) or 6424D(+)
• IP Hardphones 4620, 4621 or 4625
• 2420, with the EU24 expansion module if applicable

Course content

You will learn how to work with your digital Avaya device based on exercises and practical examples during this course.

The following subjects will be discussed:

• How to handle the fixed keys on your device
• How to handle the variable keys on your device
• How to handle team switching (boss/secretary switches)
• How to use various lines
• How to use functions such as connecting calls and setting up conference calls
• How to use menu options
• How to use the directory to search for names

Intake requirements

• There are no intake requirements that participants must meet in relation to this course.

• The group size will amount to no more than 10 students.
